Team Lead Responsibilities

Front Office Vertical


This key position will be part of the Business Integration team based in Hong Kong; which is tasked with the responsibilities of improving Front Office end user adoption of different change programs within Private Banking in APAC. Business integration to compliance, process improvement to change management and technology strategy to systems integration and application development.

The team works very closely with CTB and RTB teams alongside other departments to ensure change programs are properly rolled out to the end users with the goal of minimizing disruption and maximizing the acceptance and benefits to the end users.

The role will also encompass Strategy Planning and Communications to ensure the purpose and objectives of all strategies, plans, and initiatives of each business are aligned.

As a Business Integration specialist, the successful candidate will be representing the Business Integration team whenever there is a need.

Key Requirements 


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

At least 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Private Banking and Front office exposure will be highly advantageous

Strong business acumen and outstanding customer engagament

Project and Change management / Coordination experience will be desirable

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to details

Soft skills include excellent oral and written communications; proven ability to influence and set expectations

Ability to communicate effectively with internal as well as external groups at varying levels of business and technical knowledge

Self-motivated and team player

As a Senior Advisor, you will have sales responsibilities with associated turnover targets. You will also be involved in projects at a conceptual level and strongly engage the client to generate new leads.

Key Responsibilities


Acquire new clients and grow the accounts substantially, ensuring that revenue and contribution from these accounts are at the expected and agreed levels with management. This includes identification, qualification, offering and contracting.

Manage the conceptual phase of the project and either consult as a senior expert or take the project lead as required.

Manage the project budget, staffing, and timeline with regular updates to the client as required


Key Requirements


Degree holder

Have management experience in at least one of these companies/areas: AIA, Great Eastern, Prudential, Aviva, NTUC Income, Manulife, or Bancassurance with banks, or insurance technology vendors (eBao, CSC, HP, Sapiens, etc.)

Work experience covering at least one of these areas: Operations (underwriting/claims), actuarial, product management, technology, greenfield set-up/post-merger integration

Good understanding of core business processes and products in life/non-life insurance

Possess network establishments in Singapore and/or Hong Kong

Experience in sales and project acquisition will be an advantage

Capable of applying IT principles to business

Excellent spoken and written English; Cantonese will be an advantage.

Highly analytical and structured in problem solving

Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues

Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
