Once the installs for the area are complete, we then have the techs go to the locations for any break fix issues and handle ongoing service calls for the equipment.The normal SLA (Service Level Agreement) for these calls is Same Day or Next Day service (including weekends).

The equipment we service consists of desktops, laptops, printers, and servers. Some Networking experience is preferred as basic concepts are required. Coordinate all modifications and additions to AccuWeather’s computer products and applications with Developers and Support Staff, as well as upgrades and installations of computer room hardware.
Follow pre-defined escalation/notification procedures.

Performs trend analysis on monitoring alarms, incident reports and service tickets, to resolve identified issues.
Maintains computer room installation/configuration standards and coordinates retroactive implementation of those standards.

Requirements:
Four year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
In-depth experience and troubleshooting skills with various operating systems, including OpenVMS, MS Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP, Windows Server 2000/2003, Active Directory, IIS, Mac OS 09/10, and DOS.
Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and associated applications.
Basic knowledge of network transport protocols, which may include IPX/SPX, NetBEUI, AppleShare, DECShare, and PPTP protocols.
Experience in diagnosing, installing and troubleshooting computer hardware components.
