The quickest way to find a job is to use the job list. Get to the job search page and set such criteria as suitable region, occupation, salary, etc. If you are not an active job seeker, make your resume public and wait for the tempting job postings of potential employers looking for employees in the resume database. Remember, you will surely need your resume when looking for a job to provide it to the employers you’ve chosen. You can also use notification settings and get the messages about the jobs you’re interested in to your e-mail. Selecting criteria can be different: jobs meeting your requirements or matching your resume.

Why should I create a resume?

Before making up their mind and invite a potential employee to the interview, an employer needs to know certain information about every applicant. That’s why resume is a convenient way to shortly provide all the necessary information and to present you as a potential employee. You’ll be able to send your resume to employers posting jobs meeting your requirements or it can also be found in our database (if your resume is public). Resume on our site is a web-page with a unique URL (web-page address). You can send the link to your resume to employers, place it on your web-site or blog, etc.

Is it possible not to create a resume?

Yes, it is possible. But in this case your job search opportunities will be very limited. Without a resume, you’ll be able to contact an employer only if they leave their contact information in their job posting.

I already have a resume in MS Word, TXT or some other format. Can I add it?

Yes, you can. Creating a new resume, at the second step you’ll see the Description field for you to type the formatted text there. You can copy and paste there the text of your resume. Still, we strongly recommend you fill in the rest of the resume fields. The resume with the maximum of the fields filled in is more often found in search results and looks more attractive.

What video can I add to my resume?

This is video resume, your presentation. In this snippet you can make a short speech, describing your knowledge, skills, abilities and personal qualities. Besides, you can also make a visual demonstration of your diplomas, certificates, merits and other achievements. Using video the sky’s the limit for your opportunities to catch the attention of a potential employer!

I used the job search and liked some of the jobs. What shall I do now?

Now you should offer your services contacting an employer. There’re several ways how to do it. First, some of the employers leave their contact information (phone number, for instance) right on the job posting page. Second, you can send your resume to an employer clicking Apply on the page of the suitable job posting. This option is available if you’re already a registered user and you have at least one resume. After you’ve clicked this button, an employer will get an e-mail with the link to your resume. If an employer finds your resume suitable, they’ll contact you sending a message to your e-mail address you’ve stated on the site or via contact information in your resume.

What shall I do if I get a notification about the new job which was applied to my resume?

First of all, look through the job offered. To be redirected to this job, click the link in the message or login and get into sections Workspace or Workspace->Offered Jobs. If you’re interested in this offer, contact the employer via the contacts in the job posting or use option Send E-mail clicking the relevant link on the list of jobs offered.

Can employers see my personal information?

There is section Personal Information on your resume. The data there are taken directly from your profile. You can hide any field you want and employers won’t see it. Thus, you can disclose only the information you want.
